Aid Provision: Aid to temporarily displaced persons in Myitkyina area

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan visited the 8-Mile Village of NaungNan Village-tract in Myitkyina Township to provide aid. There, the Chief Minister met with temporarily displaced persons taking shelter.

And, the Chief Minister handed over 99 bags of rice provided by the National Natural Disaster Management Committee, instant noodle provided by the Kachin State Government and books and teaching aid provided by the State Education office and donated by well-wishers.

He also coordinated with concerned officials for water access, provided 2.5 million Kyats for construction of temporary shelters, made inspection and gave necessary instructions to concerned officials to fulfill the requirements of the temporarily displaced persons taking shelter there.
