Aid Provision: Aid to temporarily displaced persons in Kachin State

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan met with temporarily displaced persons taking shelter in ShweSet Ward in Myitkyina Township.

In this meeting, the Chief Minister pledged to make arrangements for them especially before the rainy season so that theycan live safely under shelter. And, the Chief Minister provided aid worth over 8 million Kyats to the over 400 temporarily displaced persons.

He also coordinated with concerned officials to fulfill the requirements for those persons and provided 3 million Kyats to support the construction of houses. Also, the Chief Minister inspected house construction process in the ward and provided 2.5 million Kyats for the process. And, he inspected cleaning activities in the Township.
