








A ceremony to hand over medical teaching aids donated by the Government of the Republic of India to the Defence Services Medical Academy (DSMA) was held on Monday at the academy to support its undergraduate and postgraduate medical training programs.
The equipment was officially presented through the Embassy of India in Myanmar. The ceremony opened with introductory remarks delivered by Lt-Gen Pyae Sone Lin, Chief of Armed Forces Training. Following his address, the Ambassador of India to Myanmar outlined the objectives behind the donation and presented the transfer documents.
The Director of Medical Services accepted the donation and returned a certificate of honor. Also, attendees observed a demonstration of the donated items and inspected how the materials are being integrated into active instruction. According to reports, the Indian government's donation package features laparoscopic and arthroscopic keyhole surgical equipment, advanced dental prosthesis molding machinery, genetic testing devices, digital pathology slide scanners, a set of advanced audio and camera systems for medical instruction and interactive wide-screen displays and high-performance projectors.
