Agriculture Sector: MoALI Deputy Minister makes inspections

Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation conducted rice line selection together with farmers in BoMinYaung Ward of Tutkone Township.

Deputy Minister Dr. Tin Htut and officials explained the the selection process. The Deputy Minister also urged the farmers to cooperate with the Ministry for agriculture sector development.

Concerned officials will share how to use digital media, including YouTube, in order for farmers to get the agricultural information they need and to be able to search and learn by themselves, the Deputy Minister added.

Also, in the meeting at the Agricultural Research Farm in Yamethin Township, the Deputy Minister gave necessary instructions regarding knowledge sharing and effective digital media usage among farmers and growers.

In ChinYarKone Village of Pyawbwe Township, the Deputy Minister inspected rice farms and explained rice strains selection. There, he also held talks with farmers on ecosystem conservation and fulfilled the requirements.
