Agriculture sector: Magwe Region CM inspected paddy growing demostration

Demonstration of planting Ayar Min paddy strain using Drum Seeder was organized at plot No. 573, holding No.14, 4 cultivated acres own by farmar U Chit Kin in Taw Seint Village, MakyeePinPu Village Tract, Salin Township in Magway Region with the attendance Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, Regional Ministers and concerned officials.

On the occasion, Township Agriculture officer clarified matters on cultivation process within the township and Chief Minister met with the farmers and growers and coordinated the requirements.

Then, the Chief Minister heard report on planting triple crops, market and profit condition and encouraged the farmers and growers to try to use the modern techniques to increase yielding rate.

Then, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the demonstartion of planting monsoon paddy using Drum Seeder and gave necessary instructions.

According to Township Agriculture Officer, a total of 47,537 acres are arranged to plant monsoon paddy in Salin Township in 2023 and a toal of 1,536 acres have already planted using several techniques.
