Agriculture Sector: Dy Minister addresses 18th Farmers’ Technical Forum

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Tin Htut addressed the 18th Farmers’ Technical Forum, stressing the importance of the forum as there is a need for continuous communication between the Department of Agriculture and farmers and growers and the importance of cooperation for food security and acceleration of nutritious agricultural products manufacturing.

This 18th Farmers’ Technical Forum focused on basic post-harvest technical processes with discussions on vegetables and fruits and study of post-harvest techniques of local farmers and growers. The forum also included a question-and-answer session between departmental officials, agricultural experts, farmers and growers.
