Agriculture & Livestock Sector: Union Minister Makes Inspections

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung inspected the progress and future plans for construction works including two 2-story dormitories accommodating 200 students each and a dining hall with a 400-student capacity at Maubin University of Agriculture and Livestock on August 6.

During the inspection, he discussed and gave instructions to ensure strict quality standards and timely completion of the projects. The Union Minister also inspected the designated sites for a new 3-story academic building and staff housing units, as well as the structural integrity and environmental cleanliness of the existing facilities.

Afterward, he met with the Rector, Pro-Rectors, Heads of Departments, and faculty members in the assembly hall to discuss academic instruction, administration, and personnel management matters. There, the Union Minister also met with the students, encouraging them to strive to become disciplined, highly qualified individuals who make effective use of their time, and to contribute effectively as future agricultural and livestock professionals to the development of the sector and rural areas.
