Agriculture & Livestock Sector: SAC Member oversees activities in Ayeyawaddy Region

Member of the State Administration Council Mahn Nyein Maung, Ayeyawaddy Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and many other officials oversaw rice planting demonstration with rice planters and seedling machines in SuTaungPyae Village of Pantanaw Township in Maubin District. They also held talks with farmers for achieving target yield.

In KyoneTaingGyi Village, the SAC member and officials inspected a fish farm, heard report on sale and production conditions and challenges and coordinated with concerned officials for export, expansion of farming and self-sufficiency.  Also, the SAC member and officials visited a dwarf coconut plantation in YinKaDit Village of Danubyu Township, heard report and called on concerned officials to produce high-value coconut-based products.

The SAC Member also visited a piggery in U-To Village of Pantanaw Township, heard report and gave necessary instructions. Also, he attended a inputs and seeds provision ceremony with the State Economic Promotion Fund at the Community Centre in the township and gave guidance to farmers and growers.
