Agriculture & Livestock Sector: SAC Chairman inspects Nyaunghnapin Special Zone

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Saturday afternoon inspected the Nyaunghnapin Agriculture and Livestock Special Zone.

There, the Senior General heard reports on matters including information on the Zone, agriculture and livestock activities,  fruits, vegetables, meat, milk and eggs production and plans to be implemented in the Zone and to establish livestock zones in Taikkyi and Twante townships.

In his response, the Senior General called on concerned officials to ensure that there is no use of land that is not related to agriculture, the agricultural lands must be used effectively and to use modern agricultural systems. And, the Senior General held discussion with attendees on plans for development of the agricultural sector on a national scale.

The Senior General also visited the Green Light Agriculture and Livestock Farm, heard reports and stressed the need to be able to produce enough feed for farm animals with agricultural products produced in the region and that it is necessary to carry out agricultural activities in accordance with international standards.

And, the Senior General inspected agriculture and livestock farms in the Zone and gave necessary instructions.
