Agriculture & Livestock Sector: Chief Minister makes provision and fish planting

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung and officials attended the rice seed and fertilizer provision ceremony in Kyawt MaungNge  Village of Nyaungshwe Township.

During the ceremony, at the briefing hall, the Chief Minister urged farmers to cultivate according to the technique shared by the Department of Agriculture to achieve a high yield of rice. And, the Chief Minister and officials provided the rice seed and fertilizer to the farmers. Also, at the Inle Lake, for preservation of fish resources and self-sufficiency in fish consumption in the Region, the Chief Minister and officials planted fish into the lake.
