Agriculture Development: SAC Chairman inspects irrigation works in Tatkone

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspected the implementation of Sin Thay Creek Temporary Wier and solar powered river water pumping system in Shar Taw Village in Tatkone Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council area on Saturday.

Officials reported on the work undertakings and progress of works. The Prime Minsiter instructed to provide sufficient irrigated water for boosting production. He also met with the farmers and gave instructions for successful implementation of the agricultural works based on the 4 methods of using good species, adequate fertilizer, sufficient irrigated water and practicing the good agriculture practice.

The Prime Minister later inspected the implementation of solar powered river water pumping works and distribution of irrigated water. He also instructed to implement the cooperative system in order to widely use the solar powered river pumping system among the farmers. The Prime Minister and party later inspected the farmland implementation at Gway Pin Model Village and gave instructions.
