









In Kyawe Kuu Village of Myeik Township, on Saturday, Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, accompanied by officials, attended a ceremony aimed at providing natural fertilizer.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister delivered a speech, urging farmers to strive for increased yields per acre, as the regional government is extending necessary assistance for the development of the agriculture sector. Subsequently, the head of the Regional Agriculture Department explained the purpose of the event.
After that, the Chief Minister and officials presented fertilizer bags to farmer representatives from three village-tracts. An informative demonstration on the balanced use of natural and chemical fertilizers, along with the process of creating natural fertilizer from animal waste, was also conducted.
The Chief Minister and party visited the OK Yadana Rice Mill in Kyauk Phyar Village. During the visit, they were briefed on the mill's operation process and distribution in the region.
Moreover, the Paddy Producers and Farming Association presented agricultural loans, paddy species, natural fertilizer, and fuel to member farmers. The Chief Minister and party observed the operation process of the OK Rice Mill as well.
