Agriculture And Tourism: Mon State Chief Minister Pledges To Provide Assistance

Mon State Government held a meeting on development of agriculture sector and oil at the General Administration Department in Mudon Township. In the meeting, Chief Minister U Zaw Lin Tun pledged to provide assistance to growers and farmers.

Regarding the agriculture sector and oil, acceleration of peanut, sesame and sunflower plantation in the fiscal year of 2022-2023 was discussed.

The Chief Minister also presided over the Mon State Tourism Committee’s meeting 1/2022 at the State Government Office and stressed community based tourism sector, COVID-19 vaccination programme for toursim-related persons and the need to provide training and issue license in line with the law, by-law and procedures.
