Agriculture and Livestock: SAC Chairman inspects multipurpose farm

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by concerned officials inspected the Eastern Command’s Nanthida Multipurpose Agriculture and Livestock breeding farm.
There, the Senior General heard reports on monsoon plantation, poultry farming, dairy farming, DYL piggery, fish farming, fermented grass production, goat farming and animal feed production. The officials also explained sale of meat, fish, egg and vegetables at the reasonable price for the Tatmadaw families and civil servants.
In his response, the Senior General provided necessary instructions stressing that multipurpose agriculture and livestock breeding farms are implemented to ensure the food sufficiency of the civil servants and public and to support the region’s economy.
He also called for systematic water utilization and land management as the Nanthida farm is a long-term command level one. Then, the Senior General and party inspected the Nanthida multipurpose agriculture and livestock breeding farm (1) and (2) and fulfilled the requirements.
