Agricultural sector: MoALI Union Minister observed sowing rice with machine

An occasion of sowing rice with the rice transplanting machine and seeder jointly used it was held at plot no (1659) in TeGyiKone Village, Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 2nd August with the attendance of Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Oo Lwin.

At the occasion, the Union Minister U Min Naung said the modernized agricultural machinery and equipments which correspond with the nature of the country are needed for the solution of overcoming inadequate water supply for agriculture due to the clime change, enabling to sow in time the season and shortage of agricultural labour.

The Ministry is providing assistances for the quality seeds, modernized agricultural production methods, developing agricultural land systematically and the transferring to the mechanized farming system consistently under the under the guidance of the government. Next, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin gave a necessary suggestions.

Then, Director General of the Agricultural Mechanization Department clarified regarding with the organizing an occasion of sowing rice with the rice transplanting machine and seeder jointly used it.
