Agricultural Produces: Rubber technology development and Oil Mill opertion

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Tin Htut visited Rubber Research and Technology Development Division under the Department of Agriculture in Yangon Region on September 20th.

The facility is conducting training courses on rubber technology, and got the international recognition certificate. The Deputy Minister later proceeded Yuzana Palm Oil Mill in Thaketa Township and heard report on the operation process. The mill produces 300 ton of raw palm oil daily, with 65% of them used of edible palm oil, 25% for industrial used oil and 5% for making soap.
