Agricultural, forestry, fishery exports reach more than US$29 billion

Viet Nam's agricultural, forestry, and fishery exports surpassed 29 billion USD in the first half of this year, up nearly 20% from last year. The trade surplus for the sector reached over 8 billion USD, a 62% increase. Key exports include coffee, rubber, rice, vegetables, cashew nuts, shrimp, wood, and wood products, with rice and cashew nuts showing notable growth.

Despite a volume decrease, coffee's export value rose to over 3.2 billion USD, driven by higher prices. Regarding export markets, the United States, China and Japan remain the 3 largest import markets of Vietnamese agricultural products.
