Agricultural Development: MOALI Union Minister meets with BIMSTEC delegation

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung received Secretary General of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC)Ambassador IndraMani Pandey at his office on Tuesday.

They discussed matters on boosting production as per the BIMSTEC Action Plan for Agriculture Sector, accelerating the sustainable agriculture practices and promoting agriculture trade and investment. The discussion also focused on development of research works in agriculture sector, and promoting Myanmar’s participation in food sufficiency and nutrition promotion plan.
