Agricultural Development: Chief Minister inspects work undertakings in Bago Region (West)

On 21st March, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win made inspection for the development of agriculture sector of West Bago Region.

First, Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win inspected thriving 200-acre summer paddy plantation at Kyun Kone Village-Tract in Thayawady Township, met with the local farmers and coordinated requirements on double cropping acceleration and sufficient agricultural water supply.

At Chaung Thone Khwa Village-Tract, the Chief Minister inspected the 50-acre summer sesame plantation and gave necessary instructions on meeting target yields and wide utilization of natural water pumping system.

On arrival at Lin Loon Pin Village-Tract in Oak Pho Township, the Chief Minister oversaw the 10-acre summer sesame plantations, sufficient agricultural water supply with systematic irrigation system and acceleration of mechanized farming system.

At Gyo Kone Village in Shwe Taung Township, the Chief Minister oversaw thriving 100-acre paddy plantations, fertilizer broadcasting and test plantations of 8 paddy species. He instructed mixed usage of natural fertilizer and chemical fertilizer and raising awareness about test plots and their yield rate. 

Subsequently, the Chief Minister inspected stove production, using old engine oil, at Shwe Wah Tun company in Pyay Township and coordinated necessities.
