Agricultural Development: 200 acre farmlands handed over to the farmers in Chaung Sone

200 acre farmlands were handed over to the farmers in Muyitkyi Village-tract in Chaung Sone Township of Mon State. Mon State Agricultural Mechanization Department has implemented the farmland reclamation works in order to increased agricultural works within the state.

Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein attended the ceremony, and urged all to strive for achieving targeted yields, with the use of correct agricultural method while transforming the convention farming into the mechanized farming system. During the event, natural fertilizers were provided to the farmers in addition to the handover of newly reclaimed farmlands.
