A ceremony was held on August 24th in Toe Phyu Village of Keng Tung Township, Shan State (East), to provide chemical fertilizer.

Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye attended the occasion, with the aim of boosting monsoon paddy yields. During the event, the Chief Minister observed the fertilization process in the thriving monsoon paddy plantations of Mong Zin Village and emphasized the proper use of fertilizers to local farmers.

Then, the Chief Minister and party distributed fertilizers to 80 farmers. They then visited a Breeding Farm along the Keng Tung-Loi Mwe Road, where they inspected cow and poultry breeding. The Chief Minister then continued a visit to Buddha Park in Keng Tung, where they paid homage to the Abaya Rajamuni Buddha Image.

Additionally, they inspected preparations for establishing Lawka Tharaphu Ceti and Thata Thataha Maha Bodi Ceti. Officials also provided updates on the construction progress of the Keng Tung-Lwe Mwe Road, Lwe Mwe Bridge, and the Lwe Mwe Lake embankment.

They then visited Lwe Mwe Basic Education High School and conducted an inspection of the school library. In the afternoon, the Chief Minister participated in a ceremony at Keng Tung City Hall, where more than 469 million kyats were disbursed to support pregnant mothers, children under 2 years old, charity centers, self-reliant pre-schools, and literature and culture associations in Shan State (East).

In the evening, the Chief Minister and party attended the Arkhar traditional swing festival, delivering speeches and enjoying cultural performances by the Arkhar ethnic community. They also awarded honorary cash prizes to the cultural troupes.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and party held a meeting with departmental personnel, where they received updates on the progress of various projects. During the meeting, the Chief Minister shared the guidance provided by the Chairman of the State Administration Council and the Prime Minister.
