Activists in Germany protest over coal mine plans

A demonstration against the demolition of a village to allow the expansion of a coal mine in Germany took place on Saturday. Demonstrators marched between Keyenberg and Holzweiler as police continued the clearance of the village of Luetzerath. Luetzerath has become a flashpoint of debate over Germany’s climate efforts.
