Action Against Illegal Enrollment: Public are advised to avoid attending illegal institutions

The terrorist groups CRPH, NUG, and their subordinate organizations, aiming to tarnish the education system of the government, issued fake certificates to pursue further education at foreign universities.

Those who applied for further studies faced difficulties in university enrollment due to the illegitimacy of these certificates. Two students from the Final Part II of Mandalay University of Medicine have been dismissed from the university due to their failure to enroll in the semester since 2022.

The former Rector of Mandalay University of Medicine, the disloyal civil servant Kin MaungLwin, who is the interim patron of the unlawful University of Medicine (Mandalay) under the NUG, issued fake graduation certificates to apply for enrollment at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. On November 19, Chulalongkorn University contacted Mandalay University of Medicine to request a recommendation for their application.

Since the graduation certificates were found to be fraudulent, Chulalongkorn University rejected their application. The investigation led to the arrest of three suspects from Yangon Region for illegally notarizing the fake certificates.

Additionally, action will be taken against Kin MaungLwin, the disloyal civil servant, as well as the two students, Su PyaeMyoThwet and ThinzarHtet, in addition to blacklisting them. Those involved in the notarizing process will also face appropriate actions. The public is advised to pursue education at government institutions and avoid attending illegal universities and schools operated by the NUG.
