Acting S. Korean President Han gives speech on the Government Budget

Acting President Han Duck-soo delivered remarks on the government budget to South Korea's National Assembly. The South Korean government proposed a supplementary budget worth 12.2 trillion won, which is to be focused on disaster response, trade and AI support, and livelihood stability. 

South Korea's economy unexpectedly contracted 0.1 percent in the first three months of this year, the country's central bank said Thursday. Addressing the parliament, acting President Han Duck-soo underlined "significant" challenges by South Korea.
