





On November 23rd, Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Accommodation and Catering Sub-Committee for the upcoming Fifth National Sports Festival visited the No. 3 Transit Camp in Nay Pyi Taw. There, he warmly met with the Nay Pyi Taw representative athletes, administrators and coaches who will be participating in the festival.
During his dormitory inspection, the Deputy Minister urged athletes to follow accommodation rules and focus on competition. He instructed officials to ensure proper bedding, health, hygiene and cleanliness in and around the dorms. He then proceeded to the mess hall and instructed for stringent cleanliness standards, proper food storage, access to clean drinking water and thorough sanitation of utensils. He also emphasized the importance of personal hygiene and mask use for service staff.
The Deputy Minister then inspected the emergency backup generators at guest halls and the storage of drinking water, catering supplies and food raw materials. He instructed officials to ensure safe generator operation during power outages and proper storage of food supplies.
