Accommodation Arrangement: Preparation of hostels for athletes

Dormitories at No. 3 Transit Camp in Nay Pyi Taw are being repaired to accommodate the athletes, administrators and coaches, referees and Juries during the 5th National Sports Festival 2024.

On 7th November, Chairman of the Sub-Committee for successful holding the Festival, Accommodation and Hospitality, Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism, U Phyo Zaw Soe inspected the conditions of the repair works at the dormitories.

During the inspection, subcommittee members explained the conditions of preparations for the comfortable accommodation and catering of judges/Juries. The Deputy Minister instructed to provide sufficient drinking water, to practice coupon system for ensuring no food wastages, and to systematically plan for clean and fresh food, to prepare in advance for emergency health care.

He also instructed for systematic implementation of cleaning works both inside and outside the dormitory.After that, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the renovation of the dormitories for the athletes and coaches who will participate in the competition, clearing the branches of large trees surrounding the dormitories, and cleaning works.
