Academic Visit: MOE Union Minister inspects basic education schools

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe visited the basic education schools in Kyaung Kone and Nyaungdone Townships in Ayeyawady Region and Htantapin in Yangon Region on Saturday.

During the visit, the Union Minister instructed for facelifting the school buildings and improvement of academic and administration matters.

In meeting with teachers, the Union Minister stressed the major role of education for the country’s future, and urged all to strive for achieving high passing rate in the upcoming matriculation exams. He added that the government is providing assistance for development of education sector, and urged the teachers to nurture the students to be qualified in their studies so as to keep abreast with the changing trend of age.
