Academic Tour : Education Deputy Minister tours in Yangon

On February 14, Deputy Minister for Education Dr. Zaw Myint visited East Yangon University. During the visit, he toured the classrooms and encouraged students to ambitiously pursue their best efforts.

He also inspected the registration of distance education students, fee payments and online enrollment processes and toured the campus to assess maintenance. The Deputy Minister then proceeded to Dagon University. He inspected students’ peaceful learning, a hatching research project and the teaching departments.

He also attended the Myanmar Department's fresher welcome ceremony. Later in the afternoon, the Deputy Minister visited the Department of Ethnic Languages ​​of Myanmar and met with the Myanmar-English Dictionary Work Committee. Upon the arrival at Yangon University of Distance Education, the Deputy Minister met with academic staff to discuss strategies for enhancing the quality of distance education.
