Academic Matters: Universities And Colleges To Be Reopened On May 12

The Arts and Science Universities and Education Degree Colleges will be opened on 12th May, and the entrance list of the first-year students who passed matriculation exam in 2020 will be announced at the respective universities on 1st April.

The University of Distance Education will conduct an intensive course in September and October, and the second semester of the universities will be re-opened in November. On Wednesday, Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe held a meeting with the faculty members and education officers of the universities and degree colleges under the ministry.

The Union Minister called for cooperative efforts of al concerned persons for development of education sector, and urged to strive for opening the full academic year for those who passed the matriculation exams in 2022.

He stressed the needs to make harmonious efforts for this year matriculation exams and examining works. He also called for collaborative efforts for successful completion of the 2022 matriculation exams.
