Academic Matter: MOE Deputy Minister visits educational facilities

On 26th October, Deputy Minister for Education Dr. Zaw Myint accompanied by concerned officials inspected the students taking for distance education arts subjects examinations at the Mawlamyine University and instructed the officials for systematic supervision during exam period.

Next, the Deputy Minister met with the rector, pro rectors and faculty members at the main building, and heard reports on current teaching and learning methods, experiences gained from project-based teaching strategy. He also made discussions on policies laid down by the Ministry of Education and coordinated requirements. Then, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the cleanliness of the library and university compound.

In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister and party visited the Mawlamyine Education Degree College, met with the faculty members and fulfilled requirements on sufficient water and electricity access to the classrooms and dormitories, installation of drinking water purification system and necessary sports equipment. They then inspected the college compound.
