9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians opening ceremony

The Ninth Global Conference on Young Parliamentarians officially opened on Friday in Hanoi. 300 young parliamentarians and delegates from over 70 Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) member parliaments, representatives of international organizations attended the Conference. 

In his opening remarks, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that the youth and young people are the forces shouldering the mission and historical responsibility in the process of integration and development in each country and the common prosperity of the world.  

With the theme “The Role of Youth in Promoting the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals through Digital Transformation and Innovation,” the conference will have discussion sessions on Digital Transformation, Innovation and Start-ups, and Promoting Cultural Diversity for Sustainable Development.
