




The eighth day of the 60th Myanmar Gems Emporium 2025 continued at the Mani Yadanar Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on November 24. Starting from the morning, domestic and international gem merchants viewed and studied the jade lots from Group C, which were displayed at designated areas outside the Mani Yadanar Jade Hall, according to their preference.
It’s learnt that at the 8th day's emporium, 695 out of the total 750 jade lots from Group C were sold to domestic and international gem merchants through the open tender system. Furthermore, domestic and international gem merchants viewed and inspected the jade lots from Group C, lot numbers 3651 to 4400, which are scheduled for sale on the ninth day of the emporium.
They then submitted their price bid documents into the respective tender boxes. The responsible officials opened and examined these bid documents in evening. The results for the sold jade lots will be announced on the morning of November 25. In the evening, the Patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee and Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Khin Maung Yee, visited the Mani Yadanar Jade Hall where the emporium is being held.
He observed the process of opening and examining the tender bids for the jade lots and gave necessary instructions to the responsible officials. The remaining jade lots from Group C will continue to be sold to domestic and international gem merchants at the Mani Yadanar Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw until November 26, it’s reported.
