86th Anniversary: 86th Anniversary of the office of UAG celebrated

The celebration of 86th Anniversary of the Office of the Union Auditor General was held at the Nawarat Hall of the Office, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on April 1st. Present on the occasion were the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw, Union Auditor General U Tn Oo and senior officials.

At the occasion, the Union Auditor General said the office is carrying out the auditing works are performing using the auditing technologies conformed to the time, the Real Time Audit has been conducting since 2022-2023 fiscal year in timely manner regarding with the implementation of extended investment industries.

As of November 2021, the rotating chair of ASEANSAI in line with the ASEANSAI rules and procedures for 2021 to 2023. All are urged to put efforts for being the good auditors who serve for the interest of the people and the state.

Next, the documentary Video Clip commemorating the Anniversary of the Office of Auditor General of the Union was screened. Next, the Union Auditor General, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, deputy auditor general and permanent secretary awarded the prizes and certificate of honor. Then, the video on year-round activities with the song of office and the song of advance school was shown.

Afterward, the invited guests and officials looked round the photo and poster exhibition displayed in commemorating the Anniversary. Then, the Union Auditor General, officials from the head office and the chair of Myanmar Certified Public Accounts Association awarded the prizes and certificate of honor to the prize winners and the prize of the most time blood donor.

After giving a speech of conclusion by the Union Auditor General, presenting gifts by drawing ballots, catering charity feasts and entertainment programs were performed.
