77th Anniversary Union Day :State Flag Saluting Ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw

State Flag Saluting Ceremony to mark the 77th anniversary Union Day took place in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday morning. Chairman of 77th Anniversary of Union Day Ceremony Organizing Central Committee Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win attended the ceremony, held at the façade of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall.

During the ceremony, the Vice Senior took the salute of the Guard of Honour. He also saluted the State Flag together with the Guard of Honour and attendees to the event. Also, the Vice-Senior General read out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing to the 77th anniversary Union Day.

The objectives of the ceremony were to protect the perpetuity of the Union by the entire ethnic people through the Union spirit, to join hands in harmony with the government, Tatmadaw, and the entire people to ensure the state stability and rules of law, to promote all-inclusive livestock breeding-based manufacturing industries and MSMEs, ensuring the socioeconomic development of the entire ethnic people, to make collaborative efforts of all ethnic nationals to ensure the prosperity of the nation and food security which are the two national visions and to strive to emerge a modern and developing country, as well as a Union based on democratic and federal systems, by all ethnic nationals.
