6th China-Central Asia Foreign Ministers' Meeting held in Almaty

The Sixth China-Central Asia Foreign Ministers’ Meeting was held on Saturday in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where diplomats engaged in in-depth discussions on advancing comprehensive cooperation between China and Central Asia. 

Wang Yi said that China remains committed to advancing high-level opening up, pursuing common development with its neighbors, sharing opportunities with the world, and fulfilling its international responsibilities. He put forward five proposals from the Chinese side for deepening China-Central Asia cooperation. 

During the discussions, the ministers voiced support for international trade rules and expressed opposition to unilateral protectionism.
