60,000 young fish released into waters near Hong Kong’s airport

The Airport Authority recently released 60,000 juvenile fish into the waters near Hong Kong International Airport on the annual National Fish Releasing Day, hoping to enrich marine resource. 

Vessels are not allowed to enter the western waters of the airport’s central runway without permits from the Marine Department. This will be the place where the juvenile fish thrive. The Airport Authority says a total of 600 artificial reefs were set up as “homes” for the fish.
