6 die as train hits auto-rickshaw in Cumilla

Six passengers of an auto-rickshaw have been killed as the three-wheeler was hit by a Dhaka-bound train on a level crossing in Cumilla, Bangladesh.

The accident occurred at around 10 am at Kalikapur level crossing Railway Police said the accident occurred when the inter-city train “Subarna Express” hit the auto-rickshaw, full of passengers, in the area as it was passing the spot at the same time, leaving four passengers dead on the spot and injuring others.

Two passengers died on the way to a nearby hospital.
