








The 51st Mon State Day Commemoration Ceremony and the State Honorary Awards Presentation Ceremony for 2025 were held in Mawlamyine, attended and presided over by the Secretary of the State Administration Council General Aung Lin Dwe.
Initially, attendees paid respects to the flag of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and honored the fallen national leaders and comrades.
Following this, SAC Secretary General Aung Lin Dwe, read the 2025 51st Mon State Day commemorative message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing.
Subsequently, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein delivered a greeting speech for the 51st Mon State Day, after which the ceremony concluded.
Next, the General Aung Lin Dwe and members attended the 51st Mon State Day State Honorary Awards Presentation Ceremony held at the State Hall in Mawlamyine. During the event, Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein delivered a speech of honor.
Following this, General Aung Lin Dwe and council members presented awards to recipients of the State Outstanding Honorary Awards, followed by a group photo session with the awardees.
Thereafter, General Aung Lin Dwe and members visited Baeran Village in Mudon Township, where they inspected the successful cultivation of the new Aung Nyaing Toe rice variety at a 100-acre model plantation. They met warmly with farmers, addressing their needs and providing necessary support.
Then, General Aung Lin Dwe and members visited the M Rubber Factory in the Kyauktan Industrial Zone in Mawlamyine, where they observed the production process of high-quality rubber from raw materials using machinery.
In the afternoon, General Aung Lin Dwe and party attended the opening ceremony of the Myaing Yatana Five-Storey Market (Grand Mawlamyine Shopping Mall) in Phat Tan Ward, Mawlamyine, as part of the Mon State Day celebrations. They officially opened the market by cutting the ribbon and toured the premises.
Later, the SAC Secretary and members visited Ywalut Village in Chaungzone Township, where they observed the operation of household handicraft shops and MSME local product stores. They encouraged the preservation of traditional crafts, honoring veteran artisans who continue these practices with cash assistance.
In the evening, General Aung Lin Dwe and members attended a gala dinner held at Thamein Baran (Multipurpose Ground) to commemorate Mon State Day. The event began with performances by Mon traditional cultural troupes, who presented songs honoring the 51st Mon State Day.
Following this, the Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture and officials presented awards to winners of the Mon State Day Thanaka Beauty Pageant.
After that, General Aung Lin Dwe joined the attendees in enjoying the commemorative dinner, watching performances of traditional Mon dances and songs by cultural troupes. They concluded the event by presenting cash awards and floral basket to the performing groups as a gesture of appreciation.
