50 Days Charity Feast Donation: 50 days charity feast donated in Rakhine State

The charity feast donation could be catered for a total of 641,000 people in Sittwe Township of Rakhine State affected by the cyclone Mocha. The charity feast is mainly donated with the vegetable biryani and the alternative curries preferred by the locals.

The charity feast donation was started since 30th May and the Chairman of Management Committee for donation of charity feast expressed his pleasure for having opportunity to donate charity feast. [Soundbite] SKY NET For People, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (MLCA), Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (MLCA-Rakhine State), Myanmar-China Buddhism and Cultural Exchange Association,Myanmar-India-China International Cooperation & Economic Development Association (MICA),Myanmar Licensed Contractors Public Co., Ltd and Multi Religious Friends jointly organize the donation of charity feast.

The charity feast went to the renovation volunteer groups for Nursing and Midwife Training School, Government Technical Training School, Computer University, over 140 religious centres including  Buddhist monasteries and other religious centres,  Sittwe People’s Hospital, orphanages including Border Area National Races orphanage, departmental personnel and those who are carrying out the rehabilitation works, philanthropic centres, residents of wards and villages at the vicinity of Sittwe Township.

The charity feast donation was conducted for 50 days from 30th May to 18th July. On 19th July, the group of people who prepared and cooked the foods have returned to Yangon with the spirit of accomplishment.
