5 died and 4 missing due to flood & landslide in Sukabumi

The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) has reported that five people died and four are missing due to the floods and landslides in Sukabumi Regency, Indonesia. The flood and landslides affected 12 villages, while 30 other villages in 22 districts were impacted by the landslides. 

A joint SAR team has continued the search and evacuation efforts, while local authorities have deployed heavy equipment and set up emergency posts. 

BNPB confirmed that although the floodwaters have receded completely, the agency will continue its emergency response efforts to assist the victims and restore affected areas.
