





University of Computer Studies (Magway) organized the 4th ICT Competition Show 2023 and the 2nd year from final year students of the Computer Science and Computer Technology subjects participated in the event in groups.
In the project show, the students presented their projects in groups and the papers on supporting development of agriculture sector in Magway region, the facts that can be cooperated by the University of Computer Studies for the MSMEs, the facts to be supported by the university in the e-Government process and the entrepreneurship of the students and teachers were read out.
Dr. Soe Lin Aung, Pro Rector, University of Computer Studies (Magway) said "Most of the projects are based on the subjects that they have learned. Specializations on the Internet of things (IoT) Technology, TRVR technology, software and Information Science will be displayed. By organizing such kind of project show and competition, the students will have thinking or logic skills how they can apply their knowledge that they have learned in the classrooms. The project show will be a drive for entrepreneurships and innovations."
Moreover, Doh Taung Thu App of the master’s students for the agriculture sector was introduced. 30 projects of the students were shown at the ICT Competition Show and prizes were awarded.
Khin Yadana Tun, 4th Year Student, University of Computer Studies (Magway) said "Our team is comprised of 6 members and the name is “Index”. Our project is Future EV and Highway System. As the project is carried by team work, we have understanding more about the results of team work. As we use devices for the project, we will know more about equipment and devices. "
Thet Pan, 4th Year Student, University of Computer Studies (Magway) said "We chose this project with the aim of supporting transformation of the birth and death registration system to a better digitalization. Our team discussed thoroughly about demography and by applying the data in an effective way, we have discussed to get a correct form. Because of the project, we can gain experience for our worksites in future and have a better teamwork. "
Students from the Technological University (Magway), Education Degree College, the Government Technical Institute, the Government Technical High School and youth scouts as well as teachers and students from basic education schools in Magway studied the project show.
