3rd coordination meeting: Preparations for National Sports Festival discussed

The 3rd coordination meeting of the Work Committee for Organizing Opening and Closing of 2024 5th National Sports Festival was held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on 26th August.

In his remark, Chairman of Work Committee for Organizing Opening and Closing of 2024 5th National Sports Festival Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said that the Committee has conducted meeting 2 times previously, after the decision is made and the review is conducted by this meeting, the groups in sectors will be formed and the tasks to be carried out are to discuss in detail.

The Committee will be approved and the tasks will be allocated etc.Next, the Committee secretary Director General of Information and Public Relations Department clarified the plans of arrangements for the ceremonies, action plans and plans to be implemented.

Then, the Deputy ministers discussed by giving suggestions for the requirements to be implemented including the program of carrying regions and states flags to the playground by free fall skydivers, submitting financial matters in time, entertainment programs, technological preparations.

Next, the officials from the departments and organizations clarified the preparations carried out by relevant sectors and the Union Minister coordinated requirements and gave a speech of conclusion.
