36th Anniversary of GAD: Mon State CM attended 36th Anniversary of GAD

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein attended the celebration of 36th Anniversary of the General Administration Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs, held at Yaminnya Hall of the State government office in MawlamyaingTownship  on 7th November.

At the occasion, the Chief Minister gave words of honor on the 36th Anniversary of the General Administration Department and his appreciation on the tasks served by the Department including successfully taking population and housing census.

After showing the video clip on the history of the General Administration Department and work performances sent by the head office of GAD under the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Chief Minister provided 10 million Kyats of cash assistance and uniforms for the personnel.

Next, the State Minister for Security and Border Affairs and State administrator awarded the prizes to the outstanding personnel.

Then, the Chief Minister watched a documentary video on the work performances of the different levels of offices under the Department, cordially greeted the personnel, took a documentary photo and presented gifts to the retired Senior officials from the General Administration Department.
