350 people, 2 helicopters deployed to contain forest fire in southwest China’s Yunnan

A total of 350 people and two helicopters have been deployed to contain the forest fire breaking out on Tuesday in southwest China's Yunnan Province.

The fire took place in a mountain at an altitude of 2,000 meters. When discovering the fire which broke out at around 15:30, the local government immediately activated a contingency plan to send five county-level professional firefighting teams and local people to put out the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
