




The charity feast donation of rice, egg, fish sauce and vegetable biryani also took place on the 29th of June in Rakhine State as the 31st day.
In Sittwe Township area, in the morning of the 29th of June, 6,000 boxes of rice, egg, fish sauce and vegetable biryani donation was made in places including the Fire Services Department, Sittwe Station, Forest Department, Myanma Posts and Telecommunications Office, monasteries, governmental offices, schools, Nursing Training School, NaTaLa Orphanage, YwarTharYar Village, YarTan Village and KyetKineTan Village as well as for volunteering groups who are making efforts for rehabilitation works in the extremely severe cyclonic storm-affected areas.
In the evening, 6,500 boxes of rice, egg, fish sauce and vegetable biryani donation was made in 8 villages including KhaYayMyaing, BuMay and OhnTawChay as well as in MinGan Ward. It’s reported that till the 29th of June, over 391,000 food boxes were donated in Rakhine State.
The SKY NET for People, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (Rakhine State), Myanmar-China Buddhism and Cultural Exchange Association, Myanmar-India-China International Cooperation & Economic Development Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Public Co., Ltd and Inter-Faith Friendship Organization are jointly carrying out the daily donation of charity feast in Rakhine State.
The donation is set to take place till the 13th of July, it’s learnt. In addition to this charity feast donation, The SKY NET for People begun replacing its satellite dishes damaged by the storm ‘MOCHA’ with new ones free of charge starting from the 27th of June. On the 1st day, 9 dishes were replaced with new ones in Sittwe. This program will also be carried out in Ponnakyun, Rathedaung and Kyauktaw townships, it’s learnt.
