3 dead in landslide in the Himalayan State of Uttarakhand

A landslide on the walkway of Kedarnath in the Himalayan State of Uttarakhand on Sunday morning killed three, leaving eight others with injuries. The landslide near Chidvasa on the Kedarnath pilgrimage route, trapping several people under debris. The incident occurred suddenly as devotees were on their way from Gaurikund to Kedarnath Dham, and debris from the landslide near Chidvasa caused this accident.

The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) promptly conducted rescue operations, rescuing 8 injured individuals and immediately transporting them to the hospital. Unfortunately, 3 individuals had already lost their lives at the site, whose bodies were handed over to the district police by the SDRF Team.
