2nd day session: NSPNC and 7 NCA-S EAOs hold meeting

The second day session of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) and 7 NCA signatory EAOs continued at the National Unity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by Secretary of the NSPNC Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein, the Work Committee member, members of Negotiation Committee and Supporting Committee, the NCA-S EAO peace negotiation team leader Sao Sai Ngin (RCSS), Deputy leaders Saw MraYazar Linn (ALP) and Nai Aung Mangae  (NMSP) and members and supporting representatives.

During the 2-day meeting, the two sides discussed emergence of an all-inclusiveness peace talks, peace process, federal frameworks, protection to civilians, reaching common agreement of the two sides, regional stability, holding election and peace conference and plan to amend the fundamental articles from the 2008 Constitution. According to the 2-day discussion, the attitudes and opinions of the two sides were recorded.
