2nd Day Session: Myanmar-Russia Joint Anti-Terrorism Committee Meets

The 1st Myanmar-Russia Joint Anti-Terrorism Committee Meeting was held for the 2nd day at the Hilton Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

The meeting was attended by Chief of Staff (Army) of Myanmar Tatmadaw Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun and senior Tatmadaw officers of the Commander-in-Chief office, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Russian Ground Forces Colonel-General Kim Alexey Rostislavovich and officials.

At the meeting, they openly exchanged views on cooperation in combating terrorism between Myanmar and Russia. The Co-Chairs of Myanmar-Russia Joint Anti-Terrorism Committee approved and signed the meeting minutes and exchanged commemorative emblems.

Later, Co-Chairs of the Committee Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun and the Russian Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Russian Ground Forces gave concluding remarks respectively.
