29th Charity Feast Donation: Rice, potato-dried fish curry, vegetable biryani donation

The charity feast donation of rice, potato-dried fish curry and vegetable biryani donation also took place on the 27th of June in Rakhine State as the 29th day.

In Sittwe Township area, in the morning of the 27th of June, 500 boxes of vegetable biryani and 6,000 boxes of rice and potato-dried fish curry donation was made in places including the Fire Services Department, Sittwe Station, Forest Department, Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications Office, monasteries, governmental offices, schools, Zaw Ma Tat Village, Tan Htaw Li Village and Zaw Pu Jar Village as well as for volunteering groups who are making efforts for rehabilitation works in the extremely severe cyclonic storm-affected areas.

In the evening, 6,500 boxes of rice and potato-dried fish curry donation was made in Pyi Taw Tar Ward, Kya MaTauk Village, Ywa Gyi Taung Village, Ywa Gyi Myauk Village, Ye Nwe Su Ward, Ywa Thit Kay Village and Aung Chan Tha. It’s reported that till the 27th of June, over 365,000 food boxes were donated in Rakhine State.

The SKY NET for People, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (Rakhine State), Myanmar-China Buddhism and Cultural Exchange Association, Myanmar-India-China International Cooperation & Economic Development Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Public Co., Ltd and Inter-Faith Friendship Organization are jointly carrying out the daily donation of charity feast in Rakhine State.

The donation is set to take place till the 13th of July, it’s learnt.
