25 murals painted across Darwin in street art festival

A street art festival hosted across Darwin has delivered a colourful makeover to the city's buildings and walls. Around 25 murals have been painted across the Top End city during a three-week event that's included international collaborations.  Most of the artists are from Darwin and across Australia and this year’s event has attracted international interest.

The Darwin Street Art Festival is one of the longest running street art festivals in Australia and takes place every May or June over three weeks. The program includes events, activations, and workshops, along with seeing up to 20 new murals added to Darwin's streets and laneways every year.
